Physical Property Library

The “Physical Property Library” stores all the physical property tables created by the users. The information from this table is utilized in the downstream application like Template Definition, Template Configuration, Performance Monitoring Workplace, Predictive Maintenance Workplace and so on. These tables serve as valuable resources to access important data quickly, aiding in calculations, analysis, and decision-making.

For example, to calculate the heat transfer rate of super heated oil, you can create physical property table for superheated oil, which flows as one of the liquid in a heat exchanger. Let us consider temperature as one of the variables and specific heat and kinematic viscosity as the physical properties. At specific temperature (for example, 50 degree Celsius), the physical properties values (that is, specific heat and kinematic viscosity) is used to calculate the heat transfer rate of the superheated oil.
