Edit Generic Asset Template

Perform the following steps to edit an existing Generic or Custom template:

1. Go to APM Model Configuration and Deployment > APM Foundation.

2. Click Template Definition.

3. Click Generic Template.

4. Click in the Action column for the template you want to edit.

   To edit a template, you must be the creator of the respective template.

5. Edit the details as required.

   See Create Generic Asset Template section for the details on the various fields in Template Definition.

6. Click Submit.

   You cannot edit the system templates if the status is Active, Pending for Review or Pending for Approval

   The status of the Generic asset template will be "Pending for Review" till the Approver approves the Template.
