Deterioration Library
The Deterioration Library is the module in Assess 360 application that provides a list of all the damage modes and damage mechanisms. It enables you to add damage modes and damage mechanisms for various asset classes and asset sub classes.
To access the Deterioration Library, go to Assess 360 > Deterioration Library in the Assess 360 landing page.
You can also click icon in the menu bar on the left of the Assess 360 application from the Portfolio Management, Project Management, or Dashboard modules.
The Deterioration Library consists of two tabs:

Damage Mechanism
By default, the Damage Mode tab is displayed.
Damage Mode
Damage mode describes the type of damage in an item. Examples of damage mode include crack, leakage, rust, rupture and so on.
The Damage Mode tab in the Deterioration Library of Assess 360 application provides a list of damage modes for various asset classes and asset sub classes.

Type of the damage. It can be crack, leakage, rust, rupture and so on. |

Damage Mechanism
Damage mechanism is the specific series of events that describe both how the damage was incurred and the resulting consequences. Damage mechanism could be any type of deterioration encountered in the refining and chemical process industry that can result in metal loss/flaws/defects that can affect the integrity of piping systems. Examples of damage mechanism include corrosion, cracking, erosion, dents, and other mechanical, physical, or chemical impacts.
The Damage Mechanism tab in the Deterioration Library of Assess 360 application provides a list of damage mechanisms for various asset classes and asset sub classes.
