Administration

Administration is a Genix application which empowers IT administrators of the organization to perform the administrative tasks to automate the business process. Administration provides you the following capabilities:

Security

  • Application Registration: Enables you to configure real time and scheduled data provisioning to and from the Cognitive Data Lake / Industry Cognitive Model.

  • Role & User Management: Enables you to provide application security by creating roles, mapping roles with the permissions, and then assigning those roles to the users as per the requirement.

  • Session Control: Controls the session duration of any logged in user and provides the admins with comprehensive view of all user sessions.

  • Activity Log: Enables the admins to view the record of changes that occur on the Genix, which is helpful for making sure the organization complies with regulations.

  • Access Requests: The access request workflow streamlines the access to the Platform applications.

App Provisioning

  • Instance Appearance: Enables the admins to create and display announcements for the Genix application users.

  • Email Setting: Notifies end users about their system through emails in absence of access to the dashboards.

  • SMS Settings: SMS Settings is a part of the event and alarm system infrastructure that notifies end users about their system through SMS. SMS Settings allow the users to configure and send SMS efficiently.

Edgebase Management

  • Edge Management Portal: Provides a User Interface (UI) to register modules, enroll an Edge device, add, remove, configure, or compare modules, and monitor the status of Edgebase Instances and registered modules.

To access the Administration application:

  1. Navigate to the Genix.

  2. Click icon on the top left of the page.
    The snack bar icon expands.

  3. Select Administration.
